Covington, KY. —Roger Wilson, 52, of Erlanger, Kentucky was sentenced today to 148 months in prison for conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute oxycodone by United States District Court Judge Danny C. Reeves.

In March 2009, Wilson pleaded guilty to the charges and admitted conspiring with his co-defendant, Arnell Sain, to distribute Oxycontin for several months in 2008.

Under federal law, Wilson must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence, and, upon release, will be under the supervision of the United States Probation Office for six years.

James A. Zerhusen, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and Robert L. Corso, Special Agent in Charge, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), jointly made the announcement today after the sentencing.

The investigation was conducted by DEA. The United States was represented by Assistant United States Attorney Elaine K. Leonhard.
