MEXICAN ILLEGAL FELON INDICTED ON GUN AND “COKE” CHARGES
LOUISVILLE, KY - A federal grand jury in Louisville returned an indictment against Narciscon Hernandez-Reyes a/k/a Andres Lopez-Mayo, 26, of Louisville, Kentucky, in Jefferson County, on charges of illegal re-entry after deportation, alien in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of cocaine, U.S. Attorney David L. Huber of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.
The Indictment alleges that on March 13, 2008, Hernandez-Reyes, a citizen of Mexico, was encountered during a federal search warrant executed on a residence on Taylor Avenue and admitted to be in the United States illegally. A search of the residence revealed a firearm and cocaine, a controlled substance. A records check revealed that Hernandez-Reyes has a felony conviction out of Arkansas for Theft of Property and Breaking or Entering and that he was deported in 2003. Hernandez-Reyes admitted to reentering the United States in 2006 without obtaining permission to re-apply for admission to this country.
In the event of a conviction, the maximum potential penalties are 41 years imprisonment, a $750,000.00 fine, and supervised release for a period of 3 years. Hernandez-Reyes will be subject to deportation after serving any sentence.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel P. Kinnicutt, and it was investigated by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Hernandez-Reyes is scheduled to appear for arraignment before the United States Magistrate Judge on April 22, 2008, at 9:30a.m., in Louisville, Kentucky.

proven guilty.
