PADUCAH MAN INDICTED ON CRACK-COCAINE CHARGES
– Street value of $9,000
PADUCAH, KY - A federal grand jury in Paducah returned an indictment on April 8, 2008, against Christopher D. Hill, age 33, of Paducah, McCracken County, on charges of distributing a mixture or substance containing cocaine base, commonly known as crack cocaine, U.S. Attorney David L. Huber of the Western District of Kentucky, and Paul Vido, Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Louisville Field Division, jointly announced today.
The Indictment alleges on or about December 11, December 14, and December 20, 2006, respectively, that Hill, knowingly and intentionally distributed five grams or more of a mixture or substance containing cocaine base, commonly known as crack cocaine. The crack cocaine recovered by ATF has a street value of approximately $9,300.
In the event of a conviction, the maximum potential penalties are life imprisonment and minimum potential penalties are 10 years imprisonment, a $4,000,000 fine, and supervised release for a period of 5 years.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michele Thielhorn, and it was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Louisville Field Division/Paducah Satellite Office in partnership with the Paducah Police Department, as part of ATFs mandated mission to reduce violent crime and other threats to public safety.

only and that person is presumed innocent until and unless
proven guilty.
