BOWLING GREEN MAN SENTENCED FOR METHAMPHETAMINE CONSPIRACY
– First member of meth distribution ring sentenced

BOWLING GREEN, KY - Robert Neal Gamblin, age 27, of Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky was sentenced on September 1, 2009, by United States District Judge Thomas B. Russell to 4 years’ and 3 months’ imprisonment to be followed by an additional 3 years’ supervised released for his involvement in a conspiracy to possess and distribute more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, Candace G. Hill, United States Attorney of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.

Gamblin, pursuant to a plea agreement, previously admitted that he along with the co-defendants Tiffany Faine and Tanya Lindsey engaged in a conspiracy to possess and distribute more than 5 grams of methamphetamine between October 9, 2008 and November 28, 2008 in Warren County, Kentucky. During the course of the conspiracy, Gamblin admitted that approximately 40 g of methamphetamine had been sold to undercover agents of the Bowling Green Warren County Drug Task Force.

The co-defendants, Lindsey and Faine, have both previously entered guilty pleas and are currently awaiting final sentencing before Judge Thomas B. Russell on October 6, 2009 at 12:00 p.m., in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Mac Shannon, and it was investigated by the Bowling Green Warren County Drug Task Force.
