FORMER FORT CAMPBELL DEPENDENT CONVERTED PROPERTY FROM ARMY & AIR FORCE EXCHANGE SERVICE TO MONEY FOR HER OWN USE
PADUCAH, KY - An Information was filed by the United States Attorney charging Stacey Marie Martinez Eison, age 30, of Madisonville, Kentucky, in Hopkins County, with stealing from the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (“AAFES”), United States Attorney Candace G. Hill of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.
The Information alleges that on or about and between May 23, 2006 and May 27, 2006, Eison, while in the special territorial jurisdiction of the United States, Ft. Campbell military base, did willfully and knowingly convert to her own use, money and property of some value of AAFES.
In the event of a conviction, the maximum potential penalties are 1 year imprisonment, a $100,000 fine, and supervised release for a period of 1 year.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michele Thielhorn and it was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Eison is scheduled to appear for arraignment/change of plea before the United States Magistrate Judge on November 10, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in Paducah, Kentucky.
