BOWLING GREEN WOMEN SENTENCED FOR METHAMPHETAMINE CONSPIRACY
– Final members of meth distribution ring sentenced
BOWLING GREEN, KY - On October 6, 2009, Tiffany Marie Faine, age 40, and Tanya R. Lindsey, age 37, both of Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky, were sentenced by United States District Judge Thomas B. Russell, respectively, to 11 years’ and 8 months’ and 3 years’ and 5 months’ imprisonment to be followed by an additional 4 years’ supervised released, for their roles in a conspiracy to possess and distribute more than five grams of methamphetamine, Candace G. Hill United States Attorney of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.
Faine and Lindsey, along with Robert Neal Gamblin, age 27, of Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky, each previously admitted that they engaged in a conspiracy to possess and distribute more than 5 grams of methamphetamine between October 9, 2008 and November 28, 2008 in Warren County, Kentucky. During the course of the conspiracy, approximately 40 g of methamphetamine had been sold to undercover agents of the Bowling Green Warren County Drug Task Force. Both Lindsey and Gamblin received reduced sentences based upon their minor criminal histories and their substantial cooperation during the investigation of this case. Faine received a higher sentence based in part to her leadership role in the conspiracy and based upon her status as a Career Offender, with a significant criminal history dating back over 19 years, including multiple state convictions for Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor Drugs with the Intent to Produce Methamphetamine.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Mac Shannon, and it was investigated by the Bowling Green Warren County Drug Task Force.
