ALIEN PLEADS GUILTY TO MISUSE OF EMPLOYMENT CARD

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEMIAS MARCIAS-SALINA, age 25, a resident of Honduras, pled guilty before U. S. District Judge Ivan L. R. Lemelle to one count of misuse of a United States Employment Authorization, announced U. S. Attorney Jim Letten today.
According to the factual basis, on February 23, 2008, MARCIAS-SALINA was found in Kenner, Louisiana. When asked to identify himeself, the defendant presented a fraudulent Employment Authorization Card pled guilty.
MARCIAS-SALINA faces a possible maximum sentence of ten (10) years imprisonment, a fine of $250,000.00 and three (3) years of supervised release following any term of imprisonment.
The case was investigated by Special Agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Edward J. Rivera.
