NEW ORLEANS WOMAN SENTENCED FOR CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TASHIEKA BROWN, age 29, a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, was sentenced in federal court today by U.S. District Judge Martin L.C. Feldman to five (5) year term of probation for access device fraud, announced U. S. Attorney Jim Letten today. Additionally, Judge Feldman ordered BROWN to pay restitution in the amount of $10,240.40 to ALLTEL Wireless.
According to court records, BROWN pled guilty on January 15, 2009 admitting that she used stolen credit card numbers to purchase ALLTEL Wireless cellular telephone equipment and airtime.
This case was investigated by Special Agents of the Secret Service and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Irene González.
