NEW ORLEANS MAN FOUND GUILTY OF CRIME ABOARD AIRCRAFT

ORAN DAVID ADAMS, age 24, of New Orleans, Louisiana, was found guilty today of one count of violating criminal laws on an aircraft after a bench trial before U. S. Magistrate Judge Louis Moore, Jr., announced U. S. Attorney Jim Letten.

According to the bill of information and evidence presented at trial, on February 22, 2009, ADAMS, a passenger aboard a Delta Airlines flight from Cincinnati, Ohio to New Orleans, Louisiana, in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States, made an obscene and indecent exposure of his person.

ADAMS was sentenced to a six (6) month term of probation and ordered to pay a $300 fine.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tracey N. Knight.
