WRENTHAM MAN ACQUITTED ON TAX CHARGES
BOSTON, MA - A Wrentham man was acquitted yesterday after a jury trial in federal court on charges that he had filed false tax returns.
Acting United States Attorney Michael K. Loucks and Susan Dukes, Special Agent in Charge of the Internal Revenue Service - Criminal Investigation, Boston Field Division, announced today that after a 5-day jury trial before Chief U.S. District Judge Mark L. Wolf, STEVEN P. KENNEY of Wrentham, MA was acquitted of charges that he had filed false federal tax returns for calendar years 2002 through 2005.
The case was investigated by the Internal Revenue Service. It was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Victor A. Wild of Loucks’ Economic Crimes Unit.
