CAMBRIDGE DEFENDANT INDICTED ON FAILURE TO REGISTER AS SEX OFFENDER CHARGE

Boston, Mass. - ALVIN WHITLOW, 56, of Cambridge, was indicted today on a one-count indictment charging him with failing to register as a sex offender. If convicted, WHITLOW faces 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

United States Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz and United States Marshal John Gibbons made the announcement today. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Suzanne Sullivan of Ortiz’s Major Crimes Unit.
