She oversees the work of more than 200 attorneys and support staff in Boston, Worcester and Springfield.

Ms. Ortiz has spent much of her professional career in public service.  Before becoming United States Attorney, she was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Economic Crimes Unit of the United States Attorney’s Office in Boston for twelve years.  While there, Ms. Ortiz also served as Grand Jury Supervisor.
