COURT PROCEEDINGS

 

MS-13 Trial

Trial begins on February 2, 2010 for Antonio Roberto Argueta, age 28, of Hyattsville, Maryland, DKC-05-0393. The indictment alleges that Argueta conspired to participate in a racketeering enterprise known as La Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13. Argueta is facing the death penalty for murder in aid of racketeering and murder resulting from the use of a firearm in relation to a crime of violence. The trial is expected to last six to eight weeks.
