OCDETF: BALTIMORE MAN SENTENCED TO OVER 12 YEARS
IN HEROIN DISTRIBUTION CONSPIRACY
BALTIMORE, Maryland - United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein announces that today U.S. District Judge William D. Quarles, Jr. sentenced Bryant Warren, age 34, to151 months in prison followed by 5 years of supervised release for conspiracy to distribute heroin.
According to the statement of facts presented at his guilty plea on December 9, 2005, from about 2004 to March 2005, Warren conspired with William Mark Manns, age 45, and Germaine Vernon Wallace, age 32, both of Baltimore, to distribute heroin. The co-conspirators distributed heroin at a variety of locations in Baltimore City. During the conspiracy, the organization distributed and possessed with intent to distribute between 1 and 3 kilograms of heroin.
Manns pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin on September 28, 2005 and was sentenced on December 19, 2005 to to188 months in prison followed by 5 years of supervised release. Germaine Wallace pleaded guilty to the same charge on September 27, 2005 and was sentenced on December 9, 2005 to 262 months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release.
United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein thanked the Drug Enforcement Administration, Baltimore County Police Department, Baltimore City Police Department and the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office for their investigative work in this Organized Crime Drug Enforcement (OCDETF) case. Mr. Rosenstein also praised Assistant United States Attorney Steven Levin, who prosecuted the case.
