BALTIMORE CRACK DEALER SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS

 

Baltimore, Maryland - U.S. District Judge Andre M. Davis sentenced Troy Donte Garner, age 29, of Baltimore today to 10 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, announced United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein. Judge Davis also ordered Garner to pay a fine of $1,000.

 

According to his guilty plea, agents observed Garner drive to the Eastpoint Mall in Baltimore. When Garner exited the mall and approached his car, agents detained him and seized a loaded Sig Sauer handgun, 44.5 grams of cocaine base and a digital scale from his car.

 

United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein thanked the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Baltimore City Police Department for their investigative work, and commended Assistant United States Attorney Christopher J. Romano, who prosecuted the case.
