BALTIMORE DRUG DEALER EXILED TO 25 YEARS IN PRISON
Baltimore, Maryland - U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Blake sentenced Cinque Donaldson, age 29, of Baltimore, today to 25 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release for distributing cocaine, possessing a gun in furtherance of drug trafficking and being a felon in possession of a gun. Judge Blake enhanced Donaldson’s sentence upon finding that he was previously convicted of a drug trafficking offense.
United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein; Special Agent in Charge Theresa R. Stoop for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives - Baltimore Field Division; Baltimore City State’s Attorney Patricia C. Jessamy; and Baltimore Police Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III announced the sentence.
Donaldson pleaded guilty to each of the five counts in the indictment, which charged him with distributing and possessing with intent to distribute five or more grams of cocaine base on July 11 and October 29, 2008; distributing and possessing with intent to distribute 50 or more grams of cocaine base on July 30, 2008; and possessing a .38 caliber revolver on October 29, 2008 in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime and after having been previously convicted of a felony.
