BALTIMORE ROBBER SENTENCED TO OVER 17 YEARS
Baltimore, Maryland - U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz sentenced Timothy Bridges, age 40, of Baltimore, today to 210 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for conspiracy to commit robbery, announced United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein.
According to his guilty plea, on three separate occasions from September 28, 2004 to March 2, 2005, Bridges robbed a night manager and two owners of three small businesses of the day’s store receipts. Two of the robberies were carried out with another individual, and two of the victims were shot and killed during the robberies.
United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein thanked the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Baltimore City Police and Baltimore County Police for their investigative work. Mr. Rosenstein commended Assistant United States Attorney Andrea L. Smith, who prosecuted the case.
