EIGHT INDICTED IN HAGERSTOWN DRUG CONSPIRACY
Baltimore, Maryland - A federal grand jury indicted eight individuals, charging them with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute crack and powder cocaine from 2008 through April 2009, announced United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein. The indictment was returned on May 6, 2009, in U.S. District Court in Baltimore.
The following individuals were charged in the single count indictment:
Fleance Tyrone Archie, a/k/a “Flea,” age 31, of Hagerstown;
Jokari Lee Barnett, age 30, of Hagerstown;
Chad Sharay Bracy, a/k/a “Po,” age 32, of Hagerstown;
Jerome Andre Broadus, age 33, of Hagerstown;
Sean Darnell Fowlkes, age 35, of Hagerstown;
Darlene Archie, age 50, of Hagerstown;
Jermaine Buh Morris, age 37, of Hagerstown; and
Mark Linn Randolph, age 36, of Hagerstown.
Search warrants were also executed at five locations in Hagerstown, Maryland, in connection with this case. The investigation is ongoing.
The defendants face a maximum sentence of life in prison. Five defendants have been arrested. Jermaine Morris and Mark Linn Randolph are still be sought.
An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceedings.
United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein thanked the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Washington County Narcotics Task Force for their investigative work. Mr. Rosenstein commended Assistant United States Attorneys Michael C. Hanlon and Bryan Giblin, who are prosecuting the case.
