Bath Man Pleads Guilty to Possessing Child Pornography

Portland, Maine: United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that Joseph
Finocchiaro, 61, of Bath, pled guilty today in United States District Court before United States
District Judge Nancy Torresen to possession of child pornography.
According to court records, in October of 2012, investigators executed a search warrant
at Finocchiaro’s residence in Bath and seized several collages made from printed photographs
of child pornography. Finocchiaro printed the images from an internet photo-sharing website
and assembled them into the collages.
Finocchiaro faces up to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of up to $250,000. He will be
sentenced after completion of a pre-sentence report by the United States Probation Office.
The investigation was conducted by the United States Postal Inspection Service, with
assistance from the Bath Police Department.
