Portland Man Sentenced to Five Years
on Child Pornography Charge

Portland, Maine: United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that
Jonathan Fenton, 25, of Portland, was sentenced yesterday by United States District Judge
Nancy Torresen to five years of imprisonment and five years of supervised release for
transportation of child pornography. The court also ordered Fenton to pay $21,650 in restitution
to the victims of his offense. Fenton pled guilty on September 14, 2012.
Court records reveal that, in July 2011, an undercover operation led to the seizure of a
computer and a hard drive from the defendant on which thousands of images of child
pornography were found.
The investigation was conducted by Federal Bureau of Investigation.
