Portland, Maine: United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that Jerry
Lord, 34, of Sanford, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Nancy Torresen to
nine years of imprisonment and ten years of supervised release for possession of child
pornography. Lord pled guilty on May 15, 2013.
On November 1, 2012, based on probable cause that Lord was sharing child pornography
over a peer-to-peer network, agents from Homeland Security Investigations executed a federal
search warrant at the home Lord shares with his mother in Sanford, Maine. A later forensic
examination of hard drives and external media seized from Lord’s bedroom revealed 262 still
images and 168 videos containing images of child pornography.
The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s
Homeland Security Investigations and the Sanford Police Department.
