Mission Statement
The mission of the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Minnesota is to represent zealously and with excellence and integrity the interests of the United States. In the criminal area, the Office focuses its resources on prosecuting cases that involve terrorism, economic crime, guns (including Project Safe Neighborhoods), child pornography (including Project Safe Childhood), civil rights violations (including human trafficking and immigration violations), and narcotics trafficking. In the civil area, the Office focuses its resources on affirmative civil enforcement, particularly health care fraud, and it aggressively defends suits brought against the United States.
