January 7, 2009 TROY, MISSOURI MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR MANUFACTURING METHAMPHETAMINE IN LINCOLN COUNTY St. Louis, MO: Ralph Knox was sentenced to 130 months in prison on charges of possession of pseudoephedrine with the intention of manufacturing methamphetamine, United States Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway and Lincoln County Sheriff Michael Krigbaum announced today. “Mr. Knox was in possession of pseudoephedrine to make methamphetamine last September in Lincoln County,” said Hanaway. “This office will continue to assist Sheriff Krigbaum and his officers by prosecuting those who manufacture this dangerous drug.” “We continue to thank the hard work of the United States Attorney’s Office and their continued dedication in removing drug manufacturers from Lincoln County,” added Sheriff Mike Krigbaum. RALPH KNOX, Troy, Missouri, was sentenced to 130 months in prison on one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine knowing that it would be used to manufacture a controlled substance. He appeared today for sentencing before United States District Judge Rodney W. Sippel. His brother, JOSEPH R. KNOX, pled guilty last week to possession of pseudoephedrine knowing that it would be used to manufacture a controlled substance, in a separate case, and waits sentencing on March 24, 2009. Hanaway commended the work performed on the case by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force. |
