March 19, 2009 LINCOLN COUNTY WOMAN SENTENCED TO OVER 12 YEARS IN PRISON ON FEDERAL DRUG CHARGES St. Louis, MO: Theresa Flieger was sentenced to 151 months in prison on methamphetamine charges, United States Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway and Lincoln County Sheriff Michael Krigbaum announced today. “With the assistance of Sheriff Krigbaum, we will make every effort to arrest and prosecute people who supply pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of this dangerous drug,” said Hanaway. “The joint effort between this department and the U.S. Attorney’s Office to combat those individuals who enable production of one of the most dangerous domestic stimulates continues to have a profound impact on the community. We are dedicated to the apprehension and prosecution of those suspected of enabling or producing methamphetamine,” said Sheriff Mike Krigbaum. THERESA FLIEGER, Troy, Missouri, was convicted last December of one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine, knowing that it would be used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Testimony at trial revealed that between August 6, 2006, and September 14, 2008, Flieger provided over 70 grams of pseudo in exchange for money and methamphetamine. She appeared today for sentencing before United States District Judge E. Richard Webber. |
