FRANKLIN COUNTY MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO FEDERAL METHAMPHETAMINE RELATED CHARGES

St. Louis, MO: Paul Dean Wallace pleaded guilty to possession of pseudoephedrine, knowing it would be used to manufacture methamphetamine, Acting United States Attorney Michael W. Reap announced today.

PAUL DEAN WALLACE, St. Clair, Missouri, pleaded guilty to two  felony counts of possession of pseudoephedrine, knowing it would be used to manufacture methamphetamine, for his activities between October and July 2008, in Franklin County.  He appeared before United States District Judge Jean C. Hamilton.  Sentencing has been set for January 22, 2010.

Possession of pseudoephedrine, knowing it would be used to manufacture methamphetamine, carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.

Reap commended the work performed on the case by the Drug Enforcement Administration and Franklin County Narcotics Unit.
