TWO JEFFERSON COUNTY PEOPLE SENTENCED ON METHAMPHETAMINE CHARGES

St. Louis, MO: Two Jefferson County people have been sentenced on federal methamphetamine charges, Acting United States Attorney Michael W. Reap announced today.

THOMAS JAMES WARNER, Dittmer, Missouri, was sentenced to 60 months in prison. KENNETH DODGE, Festus, Missouri, was sentenced to 36 months in prison.  Both defendants pleaded guilty on July 10, 2009, to one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, for their possession of pseudoephedrine between July 2006 and October 2008 in Jefferson County. They appeared today for sentencing before United States District Court Judge Jean C. Hamilton.

Reap commended the work performed on the cases by the Jefferson County Municipal Enforcement Group and Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer Winfield, who handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
