KC MAN SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS
FOR CRACK COCAINE
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – John F. Wood, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Kansas City, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for possessing with the intent to distribute crack cocaine.
Anthony D. Dorsey, 31, of Kansas City, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Howard F. Sachs this morning to 20 years in federal prison without parole.
On June 6, 2007, Dorsey pleaded guilty to being in possession with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine on Feb. 9, 2007.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Catherine Connelly. It was investigated by the Jackson County Drug Task Force.
