KC, FLORIDA MEN INDICTED FOR LSD
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – John F. Wood, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced today that a Kansas City, Mo., man and an Orlando, Fla., man have been indicted by a federal grand jury for distributing LSD.
Christian Alexander Hunt, 27, of Kansas City, and Teo Giovani Nazario, 25, of Orlando, were charged in a two-count indictment returned under seal by a federal grand jury on Thursday, May 31, 2007. That indictment was unsealed and made public today upon the arrest and initial court appearance of Hunt and Nazario.
Count One of the federal indictment alleges that Hunt and Nazario participated in a conspiracy to distribute LSD on Dec. 14 and 15, 2005.
Count Two of the federal indictment alleges that Hunt and Nazario, aiding and abetting each other, distributed LSD on Dec. 15, 2005.
Wood cautioned that the charges contained in this indictment are simply accusations, and not evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting the charges must be presented to a federal trial jury, whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Catherine Connelly. It was investigated by the Lake Lotawana, Mo., Police Department, the Independence, Mo., Police Department, the Lee’s Summit, Mo., Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
