KC MAN SENTENCED TO 21 YEARS FOR CRACK COCAINE
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – John F. Wood, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Kansas City, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for distributing crack cocaine.
Frederico Johnson, 32, of Kansas City, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Gary A. Fenner this morning to 21 years and 10 months in federal prison without parole. Johnson was sentenced as a career criminal offender.
On March 12, 2007, Johnson pleaded guilty to distributing crack cocaine. According to an affidavit filed in support of the original criminal complaint, Johnson sold approximately 11 grams of crack cocaine to an undercover law enforcement officer on June 8, 2005.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Cari Franke Walsh. It was investigated by the Jackson County Drug Task Force.
