KC MAN SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS
FOR CRACK COCAINE
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – John F. Wood, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Kansas City, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
Patrick N. Parlor, 30, of Kansas City, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Gary A. Fenner this morning to 20 years in federal prison without parole.
On Dec. 21, 2006, Parlor pleaded guilty to being in possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of crack cocaine. On Aug. 31, 2006, officers from the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department executed a state search warrant on Parlor’s residence following surveillance and a controlled drug buy. Officers recovered approximately 153 grams of crack cocaine, a 9 mm Ruger pistol and $4,281 in a bedroom.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul S. Becker. It was investigated by the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department Gang Unit.
