JEFFERSON CITY MAN SENTENCED

FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

            JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – John F. Wood, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Jefferson City, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for possessing child pornography.

             Terry Lee Pratt, 55, of Jefferson City, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Scott O. Wright this morning to five years in federal prison without parole.

             On Jan. 8, 2007, Pratt pleaded guilty to being in possession of computer floppy discs containing child pornography.

            This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Lawrence E. Miller. It was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the State Technical Assistance Team and the Jefferson City, Mo., Police Department.
