RAYMONDVILLE MAN SENTENCED FOR BANK ROBBERY
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – John F. Wood, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Raymondville, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for robbing the Bank of Mansfield in Norwood, Mo.
Roger Lynn Turnbough, 66, of Raymondville, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Richard E. Dorr this morning to seven years and three months in federal prison without parole. The court also ordered Turnbough to pay $13,575 in restitution, which includes the $5,845.29 recovered from Turnbough at the time of his arrest.
On Jan. 23, 2007, Turnbough pleaded guilty to robbing the Bank of Mansfield, 298 W. Norwood Ave., in Norwood, with an object that appeared to be a handgun on Dec. 5, 2006.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Douglas C. Bunch. It was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
