U.S. Attorney’s Office Schedules Press Conference For Monday, November 29, 2010 At 4:00 Pm At Its Great Falls Office To Announce The Fearless Justice Initiative
Michael W. Cotter, United States Attorney for the District of Montana, announced today that a press conference will be held Monday, November 29, 2010, on the 3rd floor of the United States Attorney's Office in Great Falls, Montana, located at 119 1st Avenue North. The purpose of the press conference is to discuss the expected sentencing of Elwyn "Jack" Has The Eagle for obstruction of justice and witness tampering as well as the launch of the Fearless Justice Initiative, a new initiative in Indian Country designed to strengthen public safety efforts in Montana's Indian communities through the suppression of intimidation and coercion of victims and witnesses to crime.
Special guests will include Federal Bureau of Investigation Assistant Special Agent in Charge Scott Cruse, Supervisory Senior Resident Agent Travis Burrows and Michael W. Cotter, United States Attorney for the District of Montana.
