Omaha Woman Sentenced in Drug Case

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 14, 2011

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that Vanessa Coronel, 34, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on December 14, 2011 by Senior United States District Judge Lyle E. Strom in Omaha, Nebraska to 120 months in prison. In addition to her prison term, Coronel will serve five years of supervised release following her release from prison. Coronel pled guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
