Fremont Man Indicted on Weapons Charge

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 21, 2011

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced the unsealing of a federal Indictment against Robert G. Bonanata, also known as “Charlie Brown,” age 22, of Fremont. He is charged in a one count Indictment with possession of an unregistered short shotgun during the period of June 2011 to October 2011. The maximum possible penalty includes imprisonment for 10 years, a $250,000 fine, a 3 year term of supervised release and a $100 special assessment.

This case was investigated by the Fremont Police Department, in coordination with the III Corps Task Force.
