Council Bluffs Man Gets 121 Months for His Role in Methamphetamine Distribution Conspiracy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 23, 2012

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that Darrell Adams, 30, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, was sentenced on July 23, 2012, to 121 months in prison by Chief United States District Judge Laurie Smith Camp, for conspiring to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.  In addition, Adams must serve 5 years of supervised release following his release from prison.

Adams was arrested by the Omaha Police Department following an investigation in which he sold methamphetamine to a cooperating witness.
