Conspiracy Charge Filed Against Operator of Omaha “Spas”

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that Kimberly A. Bivens, age 45 of Omaha, appeared today before Magistrate Judge Thomas D. Thalken, in Omaha, Nebraska, and entered a not guilty plea to an Information charging her with criminal conspiracy in connection with the operation of “spas” in Omaha. 

The sole count of the Information alleges that Kimberly A. Bivens was involved in a conspiracy to operate “spas” under various names at different locations in Omaha, all of which were in fact fronts for prostitution.   The “spas” were located at 3024 N. 93rd Street (variously known as Avant Gentleman’s Spa; Advantage Spa & Body Works; Ninety Third Street Spa; and NTS Spa, Ltd.); 3025 South 87th Street (It Works Spa); and 2507 North 84th Street (Ultimate Works Spa), all in Omaha, Nebraska.

The case resulted from a joint investigation by the Omaha Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigations Division.
