Shelby Man Sentenced to 70 months for Distributing Methamphetamine

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that Frederico Garcia, age 39 of Shelby, Nebraska, was sentenced on October 22, 2012, to 70 months in prison by United States District Judge Laurie Smith Camp, for his involvement in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in the spring of 2011. During that time, Frederico Garcia was known to distribute methamphetamine in half ounce quantities in the Columbus, NE, area.

This case was the result of an investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol.
