Macy Man Sentenced For Abusive Sexual Contact

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 27, 2012

United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced that United States District Court Judge Joseph F. Bataillon sentenced Sabastian Bluehorse Cook, age 20 of Macy, Nebraska, to 36 months imprisonment following his conviction for abusive sexual contact.  Cook was further ordered to serve a term of supervised release of five years following his release from prison.

On July 2, 2011, Cook and another male were placed in a cell at the Macy Jail on the Omaha Indian Reservation.  Cook was observed on surveillance video climbing on top of and otherwise inappropriately touching the other male who had passed out on the floor of the cell.  When the jailers went to the cell to separate the two males, the jailers observed Cook to be rubbing the buttocks of the other male with his hand inside the boxer shorts of the other male.

This case was investigated by the FBI.
