
Bedford Man Pleads Guilty To Receipt Of Child Pornography
CONCORD – John O’Shaughnessy, 31, of Bedford, New Hampshire, pled guilty in United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire to one count of receiving child pornography, announced United States Attorney John P. Kacavas.
On May 3, 2011, federal agents executed a search warrant issued by the United States District Court at O’Shaughnessy’s residence and seized computer equipment and media. A forensic examination of the media revealed images of child pornography.
O’Shaughnessy waived indictment by a grand jury and entered a plea of guilty to receiving child pornography pursuant to a plea agreement that stipulates a sentence of 60 months imprisonment. O’Shaughnessy agreed to be detained pending sentencing which is scheduled for July 3, 2012.
