
Florida Man Sentenced for Bank Robbery
CONCORD, N.H. - Kevin Sigurbjartsson, 24, was sentenced in United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire to 48 months in prison and 3 years of supervised release for committing a bank robbery on February 7, 2011, in Manchester, New Hampshire, announced United States Attorney John P. Kacavas.
Sigurbjartsson pled guilty in October to robbing the TD Bank on S. Willow Street in Manchester. Sigurbjartsson entered the Bank, walked to the teller window and handed the teller a note demanding cash. Shortly after he fled from the bank, Sigurbjartsson was apprehended at a nearby store by Manchester police. At that time, the arresting officer recovered most of the stolen currency.
This offense was investigated by the Manchester Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Seth Aframe.
