Rochester, New Hampshire Man Sentenced For Conspiring To Distribute Oxycodone And Cocaine

CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE- - Anthony Scott, 24, of Rochester was sentenced today in United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire to 97 months in prison and 3 years of supervised release after pleading guilty on May 23, 2011 to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute and unlawful distribution of oxycodone and cocaine, announced United States Attorney John P. Kacavas.

        On June 9, 2010, a federal Grand Jury indicted Scott and four other individuals on the charge after an extensive investigation into the unlawful trafficking of large quantities of Oxycodone and cocaine by Scott and his co-conspirators in Massachusetts and in the Rochester and seacoast area of New Hampshire.

            The investigation was conducted by the United States Attorney’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the United States Postal Inspection Service, the State of New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force, the Rochester, NH Police Department, the Somersworth, NH Police Department, the Saugus, MA Police Department and the Lawrence, MA police Department and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer Cole Davis.
