
Nashua Woman Convicted Of Cocaine And Crack Distribution
CONCORD, N.H. – Kathy Vazquez, 30, of Nashua, New Hampshire, was convicted by a jury in United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, of engaging in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and cocaine base (“crack”), distribution of cocaine base (“crack”), and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, announced United States Attorney John P. Kacavas.
The United States presented evidence during a four (4) day jury trial, that Vazquez and her boyfriend and co-conspirator, Bernardo “Junito” Soto, together agreed to distribute cocaine and cocaine base (“crack”) in and around Manchester and Nashua, New Hampshire and that Vazquez distributed cocaine base (“crack”) from her residence, located at 113 Vine Street, Nashua, New Hampshire. Vazquez is scheduled to be sentenced in October, 2011.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Gang Task Force and the Manchester Police Department-Special Investigation Unit and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Terry Ollila.
