Littleton Man Pleads Guilty To Engaging In Illegal Sexual Activity

     CONCORD, N.H. – Richard White, 48, of Littleton, New Hampshire, pled guilty in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire to traveling in interstate commerce with the purpose of engaging in illegal sexual activity, announced United States Attorney John P. Kacavas.
           
         The defendant was arrested in January of this year when the Littleton Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance and found White cohabitating with a 15 year-old female. The juvenile was a runaway from Dorchester, Massachusetts.  White had previously lived in the Dorchester area and had met the child there. He is scheduled to be sentenced on November 7, 2011.

     This case was investigated by the Littleton Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Boston Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Helen White-Fitzgibbon, the United States Attorney’s Office Project Safe Childhood coordinator.
