
CALIFORNIA MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO
DISTRIBUTION OF OXYCODONE AND MARIJUANA
CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE – United States Attorney John P. Kacavas reports that Jimmy P. Tran, has pleaded guilty to a charge that he distributed oxycodone and marijuana.
During a hearing in United States District Court earlier today, Tran admitted that he shipped 80 mg pills and a quantity of marijuana from California to a location in Londonderry, New Hampshire on February 6, 2008.
Tran is facing a possible maximum sentence of thirty years in federal prison and a fine of up to $2,000,000. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 5, 2010.
This case was investigated by the New Hampshire Drug Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New England High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force. It is being prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Michael J. Zaino.
