
LITCHFIELD MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO
DISTRIBUTION OF OXYCODONE
CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE – United States Attorney John P. Kacavas reports that Elvin Ealy, has pleaded guilty to a charge that he unlawfully distributed OxyContin pills.
During a hearing in United States District Court on December 31, 2008, Ealy admitted that he distributed 1,000 OxyContin pills in Manchester, New Hampshire on July 14, 2008. He is facing a possible maximum sentence of twenty years in federal prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 30, 2010
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New England High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force. It is being prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Michael J. Zaino.
