HINSDALE MAN PLEADS GUILTY
TO FEDERAL FIREARMS CHARGE
CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE - United States Attorney John P. Kacavas announced today that Mark S. Kellom, Sr., of Hinsdale, New Hampshire, pleaded guilty in United States District Court in Concord to being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Judge Paul Barbadoro ordered a sentencing hearing to be held on February 1, 2010.
The defendant faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine on each count. He is in custody.
Mr. Kellom admitted that he had previously been convicted of a felony and was in possession of a .45 caliber Colt pistol in December 2008.
The case was investigated by the Hinsdale Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives with the assistance of the Cheshire County Attorney’s Office.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Clyde Garrigan.
