This year’s conference will address a variety of topics and will be held at the Winnemucca Convention Center, 50 Winnemucca Boulevard. The opening ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. Registration is from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The conference is open to all Tribal chairs and administrators, social and health care workers, law enforcement, court personnel, and others who might benefit from learning about these topics.

Registration fee is $10.00 per person and will be collected at the time of registration. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of hotel rooms for those who otherwise would not be able to attend. Mileage may be reimbursed as well. Scholarships do not cover the $10.00 conference registration fee.

The working dinner will be on Thursday night, at no additional cost. Since the working dinner is an integral part of the conference, please plan to stay for the entire dinner and presentations.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office has reserved a block of rooms at the Winner’s Hotel (800-648-4770 or 775-623-2511) and the Quality Inn (Model T - 800-645-5658 or 775-623-2588). Breakfast is included at both hotels. When you reserve your room, please tell them you are with the U.S. Attorney’s Conference.

Scholarship recipients: After you are notified that you will receive a scholarship, please make your own reservation at the hotel of your choice. The room will be billed to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
