Arrico Spires sentenced to 10 years in prison after previously being found guilty of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine

Arrico Spires was sentenced to 10 years in prison after previously being found guilty of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine in the Mansfield, Ohio area, said Steven M. Dettelbach, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio.
The sentence was imposed by United States District Judge James Gwin.
Spires, 39, of Mansfield, Ohio, obtained large shipments of cocaine that he distributed to several associates between December 2010 and July 2011, according to court documents.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U. S. Attorney Edward F. Feran, Kelly L. Galvin and Carol M. Skutnik, following an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Marshals, the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, the Ravenna Police Department and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
