Computer Safety Tips for Students in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade

Computers can be fun. It's fun to press the keys and click the mouse. It's fun to play games on computers, and computers have programs that help us learn.

But sometimes there are people on cojmputers who might want to be mean. They might try to get us to do or write something that would hurt people, or even hurt us. That's why it's important to know whenever we use a computer, we let our parents, teachers or another trusted adult know.

My Rules for Computer Safety:

1. I will tell an adult I trust if anything makes me feel scared, uncomfortable or confused.

2. I will ask my parents or guardian before sharing my personal information.

3. I won't meet in person with anyone I have first "met" online.
